In my understanding, a city is a place of settlement, i.e. a place where one intends to stay. This compared to a tent or a tented settlement, A tent allows for pragmatic accommodation in changing locations. The house in the city, on the other hand, has a permanent focus with infrastructure such as electricity, running water, etc. Those who settle in a house in the city, even as tenants, have intentions to stay longer than in a temporary place in a tent. This also means that neighbourhoods are formed differently and that one has a fixed address in the city. For all the FLexibility, it is more exhausting to live only in a tent. The non-binding or flexible does not only have advantages. Maybe it's time for you to become more settled, more committed in one area of your life and to signal this to the outside world. By this I mean: to signal where you stand, where others can reach you - analogous to a fixed address.
