Description

If I compare the bones of a dinosaur with those of a small fish, there are enormous differences in circumference, size, weight, etc. The bones of the small fish are probably even bendable, whereas the largest bones of a dinosaur cannot even be lifted by a single person. The skeleton is therefore orientated both to body size and to the physical activity and functionality to be performed. I find this remarkable and by no means self-evident. Suppose we had a super-stable skeleton, but it was extremely heavy - we wouldn't be able to move as far or as fast as we could. Conversely, if our skeletal system were too light or thin, we would be in danger of being quickly injured internally and thus disabled. This is how the body and many other things in life are designed for us - even if we would sometimes like things to be different. Many things are just the way they are, for our protection.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
