When I was a child, there was an advertising song for Smarties that went something like this - with a simple melody - "many, many colourful Smarties". Smarties were small tablet-like sweets that came in many colours. Some of them even had faces on them - like the emojis we know today. They were popular and as far as I know they still are today. They were more than just something cute, it was somehow emotional too. What strikes me today is the name: calling them smarties. So something that is smart. Smart has many meanings: witty, clever, stylish or elegant in dress or appearance, corresponding to high taste, etc. I want you to know today that you are also such a smarty in person: colourful, clever and funny in your own way and anything but dull or boring!
