When going to the pool, I used to watch with fascination those who, full of courage, climbed onto diving towers and jumped from there over the diving boards into the pool. I was never brave in that respect. Just jumping off the 3m tower was a challenge for me. I think it was this short phase of falling with the corresponding speed that scared me and that I avoided. The springboard is the last firm step before you fall. It is the transition from conscience to uncertainty. For professional steeplechasers, the springboard has an additional suspension so that they can jump even higher and perform their figures. So what is rather scary for some - like me - is welcome for others. If you are one of the brave ones in certain situations, show consideration today for those to whom this is not so given and give them a wide heart.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
