Description

Have you ever operated a stopwatch? You have to press a button to start the timing process and then another button to stop it. So the measurement has a clear beginning and end. It makes sense - why else would you measure? However, when I put this into the current zeitgeist, I find it anything but contemporary. Today, most people are very opportunistic: they hardly ever commit, they want to remain flexible, they don't want to make any commitments, especially not for a long time, or make any binding promises. Flexible, that is. This may be quite attractive and seems to promise maximum freedom, but this non-commitment also harbours the danger of being everywhere and nowhere, no longer tangible, no longer reliable. And that ultimately makes people feel insecure. Yet somewhere we are all looking for a certain stability and security. How do you deal with this topic?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
