Surely you know the story of "Suppenkasper" from the German children's book Struwwelpeter who wouldn't eat his soup and finally dies of hunger. Pedagogically, this story was meant as a fight against anorexia. The focus is on the stubbornness and refusal of Kaspar, which kills him. But... there is actually also the same stubbornness of the parents who want to force Kaspar to eat exactly this soup. I think that's totally left out of this story. If there are people or situations in your environment who seem to you to be as inflexible or stubborn as Kaspar, step aside and ask yourself: what could be driving these people to defend their point of view so vehemently? Could you help to find an alternative that could bring movement into the hardened situation? In the end, are you as inflexible as you accuse your counterpart of being? Such questions may help you to look at the situation differently and hopefully find a way out of life.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
