I have been travelling a lot for work in the past few weeks. This means that I am a guest in different hotels in different countries. I always look forward to the first sip of coffee in the morning. Because the coffee traditions in the individual countries are very different, the coffee - or what is understood by it depending on the country - also tastes different. So I have been pleasantly surprised a few times, but also... let's say disillusioned, and I ended up preferring an orange juice... Why was that? Because our taste buds send us signals and we derive something like a sense of pleasure from them. If it was only about the caffeine, it wouldn't matter what I had. But the pleasure is also important. At least I think so. So if you are looking forward to something and are disappointed - remember the good, positive moments that nourished this expectation and be grateful for them.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
