I belong to the generation that still grew up with an analogue telephone with a dial. The telephone was heavy, relatively large, connected to the network via cable and you had a handset that you held in your hand. The number you wanted to call was set with the dial and they were shorter numbers than we have today. Also, you didn't have to set the area code if you were calling within the same city. Tempi passati... At that time it was unimaginable that one day you would make a phone call with a device that had no dial, was digital and needed no cable to connect to the network - and: that you could carry around with you and therefore use anywhere. Unimaginable, but not unrealisable. You can learn that from it - and for you as encouragement: where you currently see no way out or solution in life, one is still possible. Read verse 37 in the Bible in the book of Luke, chapter 1.
