In the Old Testament of the Bible there is a story in which a god of the Philistines kept falling down in the temple because the stolen, holy object of the Israelites was in that temple. The broken parts of the fallen statue of the god were scattered and pieces lay on the threshold. Therefore, when the Philistines entered the temple, they no longer stepped on the threshold. A threshold is a transition. From the inside to the outside or vice versa. Sometimes also in a figurative sense. We talk about crossing a threshold, which means: this was too much, boundaries were not taken into account here. We have all had threshold experiences - on the one hand, that we have crossed them unauthorised and perhaps even consciously, on the other hand, that others did not take our boundaries or thresholds into account. Perhaps a day to be particularly attentive to such thresholds and to check whether they may be crossed or not.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
