We've all been in a situation where we've been told 'too late'. It happens to me sometimes at the station when I can't make the connection because my train is so close and by the time the first train is late, the second has already left. These are external events over which I have no control. But there are also self-inflicted delays. I plan badly or simply forget things, appointments, etc. And when I do remember them - well, it's too late, they've already happened. Unrealistic - this is sometimes true. Unrealistic in the sense of: misjudging time, overworking myself, planning too much, or simply having too much on my mind, leading to forgetfulness. James warns in one of his letters in the New Testament: 'Do not say that tomorrow we will do this or that, but if God wills, we will ... etc.'. Sometimes modesty helps and protects us from making mistakes.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
