Imagine an ICE train driving through the city - that would probably be quite unusual and dangerous. Imagine you had to take a tram from Basel to Hamburg - that would probably be quite uncomfortable and maybe sooner or later you would also miss a toilet or an on-board bistro. Actually, these scenarios should be possible, because both a train and a tram run on rails, are supplied with the necessary energy via overhead lines and have predefined stops. Nevertheless... the purpose of the two is different: the train is used for long distances and the tram for local connections, even if the principle of passenger transport is conceptually much the same. Analogously, I wish you the wisdom today to adapt your abilities to the circumstances, so that you can be flexible and light where appropriate and firm and assertive in other situations.
