Description

It is not uncommon for people who are prominent or in the public eye to talk about their vocation and to debate whether or not the task or lifestyle they have chosen actually corresponds to their vocation, or to mention personalities who live or have lived their vocation in a very special way. The term is of biblical origin. A calling is symbolised by a cloak, especially in the case of prophets. The prophet's mantle expresses the calling of a person to be a prophet as pronounced by God. The image makes it clear: a calling is sometimes a burden that you carry, but sometimes it is also a protection and can be passed on. If you transfer this symbolism to your life, will it help you to define your calling: something in life that you carry, that you also feel, that is sometimes a burden but also protection and warms you? Something that you would like to pass on to the next generation?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
