Reading: John 8:51-53
Through this passage in John, Jesus invites us to keep His words. Jesus reminds us that the one who speaks of the truth is the one who lives out those truths. Jesus is the ultimate example of someone who kept God’s truths. God is love. And Jesus lived His earthly life by loving God the Father and all of us. He offered His whole life to us through death on the cross, so that whoever believes in God, though he may die, he will live again for eternity.
