Welcome, and thank you for joining us here on another episode of The Controversy. The #1 podcast here at Maricopa High School. In today’s episode, our hosts uncover the District’s recent activities behind the recent mental health survey or mySAEBRS assessment that was administered at MHS. Mental health, a growing issue of concern at schools across the world, leaves administrators wondering how to properly implement intervention efforts. Despite state and federal policies in place to help guide schools in proper procedure, the administrators of MUSD20 have decided to take an alternative approach, a decision that very well invalidates the data collected through the survey. The survey was not anonymous and students were left in the dark about the admin's intentions behind the screening. Join us in our most controversial episode to date, aimed at highlighting a topic that some would rather brush under the rug, as we attempt to solve this problem as well as bring you the viewer a new perspective on the matter. Hosted by Nicolas Yendrzeski and Co-Hosted by Zachary and Timothy, with episodes every Monday, The Controversy is the podcast that you can relate to.
