Wayne O Broin is an Irish national born and raised in Dublin Ireland by his parents who hailed from the Liberties area of the inner city of Dublin. Currently residing 5 km from the birthplace of celebrated Irish Gothic novelist Bram Stoker and 140 kms from Dring Co. Cavan Ireland where Edgar Allan Poe’s Great Great Grandfather David Poe and Great Grandfather John Poe hails from.
Wayne has been involved in the performance arts from a very young age including theatre, TV, and film. Having studied with Dublin Youth Theatre, The Gaiety School of Acting and the National Academy for film at Bow Street inc. others. He continues working as an actor is the theatre and film industry.
Wayne has always had a love for poetry and in particular the gothic and the horror genres. Wayne has done some film performances of Poe’s work including “Alone,” “A Dream within A Dream,” and “Annabel Lee” with more planned. Wayne has also written poetry in his youth and
in later times.
