Description

So, Shin Megami Tensei, a no-nonsense, battle heavy, demonic romp.  At least that's what I would say if navigating the overworld was full of platforming bull****.  Between that, a hidden ending locked behind an insufferable boss (even by superboss standards), and paper thin story, SMTV manages to be as brutal as its namesake.  But in sometimes more frustrating ways that needed.  If nothing else, this will teach me to never grind levels for an entire week thinking I'm actually going to win.  Nothing makes you feel old and stupid like knowing the game will bludgeon you to death for thinking you're making a difference.  Oh well; if you're a masochistic micromanaging 100% type, then this might be right up your alley.
