Description

Sometimes we get so worried and worked up about a situation that we make it much worse in our head than it is in real life. We can put ourselves through through 100x more hardship in our own minds than our bodies will ever have to endure. I was guilty of this type of inflation last weekend. The difficulty I had imagined for myself going into my race was far greater than what I actually had to deal with. It was good practice, though, as I learn how to anticipate potential obstacles without psyching myself out.
