This episode: Weetzie Bat
The sun set just off the Western Lawn of the Is It Camp Palace, as the cicadas hummed in the summer heat, the smell of fresh cut grass, and a blessed cool breeze blew in. On the veranda, Sam and Sarah and Horrible Puppet Robin lounged, sipping margaritas and noshing on slices of Fool's Gold, and the world moved around them despite the stillness of the evening.
When you press play, they'll discuss the first novel of the Podcast, Weetzie Bat, a tome more train of thought and prose-like than classic novel structure. Sam spilled margarita on his shirt.
Is the book another example of Magical Realism, or something else? What is Pro-Ana? And why is the genie just a footnote?
Take a drive with us down Rodeo with the hood down and 5 dogs.
