This week: Heritage Minutes

It's Canada Day (or close to it) and because the main foyer of the Is It Camp Palace is located on Canadian soil, it's only fair that the Camp Counsellors reminisce about Canadian things. Like peach baskets in basketball. Or houses made of dirt. And of course, who could forget Colm Feore, writing poetry, covered in blood? That's right, Sam and Sarah are looking back at the proud Canadian media oddity known as Heritage Minutes. Why are these historical tidbits both important to a millennial sense of Canadian history, and yet sorely lacking in some context? Why is Sam obsessed with obscure Canadian actors? And what in the name of Celine Dion is a House Hippo? (Seriously the Palace is teeming with the little pests.) We stand on guard for thee, and this episode!
