Purpose by Design is stoked to introduce to you: Dr. Angie Gray - a powerhouse woman of God. She is an author, wife, mother of 4 daughters, entreprenuer, inspirational speaker and so much more.
Dr. Angie encourages us to lean into the Lord, and know that we are called to his kingdom and an opportunity to glorify his name even in the storm. Our lovely Guest tells us that when a problem comes - instead of looking at it as a negative, we can flip it over and thank God for an opportunity to see him move!
Dr. Angie went through something insane - right after losing multiple people close to her. A medical situation turned dire quickly last year where our guest found herself fighting for her life. She contracted legionnaires disease - her husband saw she became increasingly ill and rushed her to the hospital. She was on the brink of life or death - and when the doctor asked her she gave a firm “Do Not Be Resuscitated” and even emailed him to make sure he knew her decision…she was hard-pressed. She took a look at her doctor after some time who had a tear falling down her face and Dr. Angie heard the Lord tell her that her time was not over. Amazingly, the doctor came back a second time and Dr. Angie was able to share that she was choosing to live. Dr. Angie later came to find out that The Women of the Power Voice Book came together to pray for Dr. Angie and lift her up - How amazing! She talks about how she thought she knew purpose until this experience - and how we all will learn perspective as things change in our lives.
