Purpose by Design is so excited to welcome Eric Sean - who has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years, he’s a motivational speaker, minister, mindset coach, and personal trainer.

Our powerful guest talks about how all of these fit together for our mind, body, and spirit. His goal is to help the world discover that they are loved, and their outside presence should always match the love they have within.

Eric discovered over the last 30 years - there is a whole group of people who are prisoners of their body, and mental health is just as important as physical. He has niched down on his craft and helps women lose over 100 pounds. This started from meeting someone named Sally. She changed his whole perspective on fitness as Sally wanted to lose 100 pounds, she had wanted to for a long time. When she was in college - she was in the best shape of her life. She had an amazing physical presence. She got sexually violated, she was never able to deal with that, and her mindset changed. She believed that because she looked so attractive and that’s when he knew the mind controls the body.

Everyone should take responsibility for their personal body - why not protect our temple? Eric talks about how the mind’s job is to navigate. The body is designed to be a means of travel. The mind handles logistics and the body handles travel. Coach Eric talks about how doctors push pills on us for anything and everything - and how if people would just get into simple, good habits most of this would vanish. Most of us won’t prevent getting sick, but we’ll gladly take ownership when the doctor says, “You have this” - even though the CAUSE was self-inflicted.

He shares we are either expressing our emotions or they are eating us alive. We weren’t taught everybody has a different path and because we have been so domesticated - when we have a feeling that goes against that we do not know how to take ownership or express that so we hold it inside and it ferments and it creates so much dis-ease that we regurgitate to the world.

The goal should not be to stay on the medication, the goal should be to learn as much as you can learn to gather the facts, and believe that your body is capable of healing itself and one day you will not need this medication. The power is in your hands! Medication is not the solution, your mindset and your actions are!  It is important that we take responsibility for how we feel, and think and change what we need to to make the right decisions - it is NEVER too late to start!
