Welcome to Mwanicky's first mini-episode of the series, "People I Think You Should Know". To kick off the series, he does a deep dive on one of hip-hop's greatest producers: James Yancey, popularly known as J Dilla. Unknown to many, the prodigious producer is still an enduring influence in hip-hop today, and Mwanicky tries to deconstruct what makes Dilla so special.
