Coming in a little late here but, Happy New Year y'all! With a New Year comes new opportunities: to love our neighbors, to expand our horizons, discover what gives our life meaning, but most importantly, this new year brings with it...the opportunity to see The Batman in March. In this episode, I cover some recent news stories in Kentucky: Governor Andy Beshear has raised more than a million dollars in his reelection campaign, and for a brief time, I thought that the guy running against him was an actor from NCIS. Also, a new law will help a lot of folks in Kentucky actually afford their medicine. On a more somber note, with this week marking the first anniversary of the 2021 Capitol Attack, I wanted to pause, reflect on where we are as a country one year later, and talk about where I think we can go, together.
