🔸 Jane's been with an IFS therapist for 6 months, so when she shows up today with an exile, we go straight through.



🔹 Part (Location, Fear, Rather be doing, Age, Needs):

• 2nd grade, guilt, shame. Having to be an adult
• back of throat
• afraid of not being acknowledged, understood, not being able to enjoy the things she loves, her sister's wellbeing
• needs to hang out with Self, free to sing and dance

🎓 What I'd like to do differently:

First time caller. Did i spend enough time and ask the right questions to ensure we were safe in handling exile? Re the end: I know she’s into IFS, so I didn’t feel too much pressure to hear the check-in plan. But it continues to be a struggle for me, that shift from inner work to “making plans / promises”
