🔸 "If the sadness comes out, we'll be punished. It's not ok to be sad"... A protector is comfortable being uncomfortable . We try a couple new approaches with a familiar exile, the teen.
🔹 Part (Location, Fear, Rather be doing, Age, Needs):
- busy pacing, insisting. It lives in the head. - a few protectors. The fear that Jo won’t know what to do with this sad part when she works with it - the sad teenager is in her throat. - It needs Jo to witness more - wants to be on the beach. And the protectors want to join it
🎓 What I'd like to do differently:
Two things: - get more permission explicitly by starting sentences with "are you OK with..." and "would it be OK to…" I did that a bunch in this call and it wasn’t as hard as I had feared. - I want to do more bookmarking and following up with Jo, to suggest early in the call to just follow up with part from last time. I did that! it also went better than I had feared. I say five stars for improving on the things I wanted to improve on : D
