Description

How’d your class go last semester? This week we talk with Dr. Linda Fuselier, the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Louisville. We discuss peer evaluation, in which faculty get feedback about evidence-based practices from other faculty and staff who observe them teaching. Linda describes how peer observation and evaluation of teaching are critical to supplement traditional student evaluations. Learn more about the resources mentioned in the episode, including a field guide for peer observation, a study of the structured observation protocol COPUS, and the online observation tool GORP, which UofL faculty can sign up for here.
