Switzerland has 4 official languages and English is not one of them, neither is Spanish. Growing up it was hard enough to learn German (note here that in Switzerland we read and write in German, but speak Swiss German), next to that it was manditory to learn French and I volentarely took English and on top of that I tried Spanish. In a conversation I mentioned that to my son and hence tried to explain to him what it means to have a window seat. What can I say, the apple does not fall far from the tree!
