In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna uses the term ‘Jitendriya’—someone who is victorious over the senses. Now people think the term ‘Jitendriya’ denotes suppression and is about putting force on the senses. However, this is incorrect. Its real meaning is entirely different.
