Welcome to The Bookmark, a podcast of the Wabash Carnegie Public Library, hosted by Laura Beutler and Rachel Castle. Each month, we'll let you know what's going on at the library, along with making a few book recommendations, introducing you to another member of our staff, and filling you in on services you may not even know are available at your library.
It's Book Two! Thanks so much for listening to us. Now have some spooky recommendations, as a treat:
Foods you should be eating this season include but are not limited to: Pumpkin rolls, candy corn (Laura does not endorse this one), pumpkin-shaped cookies, Pumpkin Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, this specific Halloween candy, and Almond Joy or Mounds depending on your relationship to tree nuts.
Movies and TV that we love include Diabolique, E.T., the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Clue, Young Frankenstein, Knives Out, The Book of Life, Hocus Pocus, It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Supernatural, and The X-Files.
We also encourage you to make spooky crafty fall things and also check out some special effects makeup!
