Today I am talking to my friend Rich who was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, which had spread to his liver in, August 2022. Rich, and his wife Anny (one of my best friends in the whole world) are running the London Marathon in April 2024, and I would like to support them + help raise money for this very important cause.
Some key statistics:

- 9 out of 10 people with bowel cancer are over 50; Rich is unlucky statistic, but it does affect young people.
- 2,600 young people (under 50) are diagnosed each year with bowel cancer.
