This special episode of the Sound Off on Sports Podcast was recorded live at the history Wayland Gymnasium in the tiny coal town of Wayland, the home of basketball legend 'King' Kelly Coleman, the first recognized Mr. Basketball award winner in Kentucky. The Wayland Gym, now the home of the Mountain Sports Hall of Fame, which represents athletes from the 16th, 15th, 14th and 13th regions, hosted it's first KHSAA basketball game in 52 years on February 4th. The guys spoke with former Mr. Basketball JR Vanhoose, Van Lear Bankmule alumnus Doug Kretzer and Wayland Wasps alumnus Jerry Fultz about the MSHOF and recapped a weekend of throwback basketball in Floyd County.
