Before we look at the second half of the book of revelation let us ask this question again. The very nature of the Lords return invokes a response from all of us. Especially if we truly believe we are in last days. Consider these verses: "For just as lightning flashing from one end of heaven shines to the other end of heaven, so will the Son of Man be in His day. But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. And even as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man: They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day in which Noah entered into the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;" (Luke 17:24-28) Our response to this question hopefully is not just desiring everything to go back to a norm, which means loving the cares of this life. Really believing that we are in last days should make the cares in this life as a hindrance to us. Overcome in these last days. "Remember Lot’s wife." (Luke 17:32)
