The first six chapters of Daniel, we see are stories that stair step together, one building up on the other, and give us a strong case for the need to overcome. The last seven chapters contain revelation given to Daniel regarding future events. These seven chapters are to old testament saints like the book of revelation is to us today. In order to enjoy, comprehend and see the revelation that God has for us, we must overcome. The church must overcome. Those that overcome the age they live in are engaged with what God wants in the book of revelation, not in their own personal expectations, or fantastical ideas, but look at revelation and see the person of Christ and the fulfillment of God’s eternal purpose and desire through Him.
