"Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the land will mourn over Him. Yes, amen." (Revelation 1:7) I think this is the succinct summary goal of the book of revelation, every eye seeing Christ. Beholding him! We don’t have to wait until his second coming to see him, we can behold him today in our spirit because "the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit." (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
