The church in your community should be a testimony of the Oneness of God. We do not create oneness, we don’t come up with a statement to agree to disagree, and we don’t conference together to find it! It’s already in you! It’s in all the church members. It’s in your wife. It’s in your husband. It’s in all those that know the Lord. This is our hope and the basis for unity among the saints. Psalms 133:1 How pleasant and good it is for the brothers to dwell together in unity.
Ephesians 4:3 Be eager using all diligence to KEEP the unity of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace.
-John 17:21 That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."
Ephesians 4:13 “until we all arrive at the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, at the full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fulness of the Christ”
Are you recognizing this unity in your relationships with saints? Just realize the oneness that you need has already been installed in your spirit upon salvation. His Oneness is in you. Just say amen to it. When you recognize the lack of oneness, be diligent! Be eager! And jump into Their Oneness. Just say “Lord I’m one with this person as you are one with this person. Help us to live in Your oneness” For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." (Matthew 18:20.) Amen!
