Marriages since the beginning of time are all under the ordinance of God. Two shall become one flesh, Husbands as the head and wives following the leadership of husbands. Satan certainly opposes the ordinance of marriage and anything that God has created, especially in these last days we see chaos in the realm of what a marriage should be. But the Christian marriage goes beyond an ordinance. Christians can express the marriage relationship as outlined in Ephesians 5:18-33, Colossians 3:15-19, and I Peter 3:1-7. This is expressing through our marriage the very life of Christ in our homes. This revelation defeats the efforts of Satan to attack God’s purpose for married life.
