A summary of Revelation chapter 2 and a preparation for chapter 3. We need to realize that those who rule and reign with Jesus in the Millennial age is connected to those who overcome during the church age. Not all believers will overcome and their millennial situation will involve significant reflection regarding their lack of enjoyment prior to the rapture of the Saints. Overcoming is related to our enjoyment of the Lord‘s life now. May we no longer be satisfied with anything less. To just continue living according to the world , according to our own selfish soul life, or according to our own ideas about the church is improper and needs to be dealt with that we might be ready when he comes. “Behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me to render to each one as his work is." (Revelation 22:12) "For the Son of Man is to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will repay each man according to his doings." (Matthew 16:27) "But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God," (Romans 14:10) "For we must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done through the body according to what he has practiced, whether good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10)
