It’s so easy for most of us to talk to people, family, young, old, little kids, colleagues and even strangers for some of us. But we struggle to talk to God. Not only do we fail to talk to him alone, but I think what’s even worse is we can’t pray to him with in the church. Brothers and sisters prayer is one of the greatest ministries of the church. I don’t mean the encouraging of individual prayer, or a prayer chain nor a once every now and then prayer and share meeting. But regular corporate praying in the body has been neglected. What has happened to corporate prayer being an essential normal part of our gatherings? It is the means whereby we put on Christ, our armor, in the body! Eph. 6:18 By means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints,
Eph. 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known in boldness the mystery of the gospel,
Eph. 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I would speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." (Mark 14:38)
