Jalda Rebling, the daughter of Lin Jaldati, tells the life story of her mother, born as #Lientje Brilleslijper in Amsterdam. Together with her sister Jannie (24.10. 1916 – 15.08. 2003), their husbands and a group of friends they were active in the Dutch resistance and saved the lives of several Jews during the German occupation. In summer 1944 they were betrayed and Lientje and Jannie were deported to the transit camp Westerbork, further to Auschwitz Birkenau and finally to Bergen-Belsen. Just like Anne and Margot Frank, whom they met and befriended with them. Lin gave secret concerts during her time in the underground, sang for the other inmates in the concentration camps and in DP camps after the war.

A movie is being prepared based on Roxanne van Iperen's exciting book about Jannie and Lientje's resistance work.
