The finale of our 2022 Trilogy of Terror has arrived (a few days late), and it’s a bit more lax than one would expect from a Spooktober selection. While it does include body horror elements, it’s more of a coming-of-age fable about growing up gay and finding solace in fantasy, with a talking hamster voiced by Isabella Rossellini thrown in for good measure. That said, could this commentary for a movie literally filmed in my area be a good omen for my future? It’s too soon to tell. For now, let’s watch Closet Monster!
