Carl prepares for his 2-hour journey to Louis Ville, Kentucky, to set up and begin his yearly adventures at POP CON 2023 from Indianapolis, Indiana while sharing his story on what inspired him and his friends to start POP CON.
PopCon was created by a group of friends who love geeky things. They have a few gamers, a couple of comic book fans, a Doctor Who obsessor, a YouTube enthusiast, and even a couple of My Little Pony fanatics. While their passions are varied, they were brought together by their shared geekiness. Their convention ultimately mirrors what they believe is the truest definition of “geek.”
