When I was in corporate, I used to always put others first, even if it means “self-sacrifice” and dimming my own light. Right now, at one year after retiring from corporate, I’m starting to allow myself to put me first, and remind myself that it’s ok to be selfish! This is also a reminder to you: It’s ok for you to be selfish. It’s ok for you to pursue your own happiness. it’s ok for you to put yourself first!
