-Celebration: There were over 3000 players in the Gotchiverse ready to collect Alchemica as soon as it launched. The first Saturday hangout to crack the 1000 people in discord mark!
-Celebration: There would be 10 – 13 thousand Alchemica dropped at a time over both districts in short intervals which would be heavy on helpings of Alpha.
-Discussion: We did a brief review of the shipping that has been going on in April. There was the Gotchiverse playdrop launch, minting of LE Golden Aaltars and Tiles, the launch of WAP-GHST, and not to forget in-game District and Citaadel text chat features!
-Celebration: There were two districts to roam around in while weapons systems were turned on intermittently; allowing all Aavegotchi’s to fling weaponized hearts at each other; literally killing each other with kindness.
-Kek: Best looking outfit during the hangout went to MoonGotchi who was roaming the Gotchiverse riding in his Staani boat!
-Celebration: The Aavegotchi’s with higher XP levels got the benefit of a health boost which helped them survive the ‘heart attacks. If your Aavegotchi was ‘ghosted’ before you got to the vortex, your Alchemica would be dropped for others to pick up!
-Discussion: We got into some interesting discussion around Coder Dan’s approach to the Yuga Labs metaverse land sale. He offered some great insights on things that could have gone better with the drop in a comprehensive tweet thread, which is worth having a read.
-Discussion: The discussion of Yuga Labs led into NoFuture talking about some competitive advantages like elaborate backend systems, an organised DAO and a frenly community, factors which make Aavegotchi unique.
Aalpha: Coder Dan mentioned that you will not need to survey your parcel in order to plant an altar on it for channelling. However, you will need to build an alter in order to build walls around the parcel
Looking Forward: We shared our strategies on crafting the LE Golden Aaltars and tiles, The consensus was we don’t have enough Alchemica for the limited-edition golden items! Not everyone was able to get an Aaltar, only 1251 were minted at the end. Strategize accordingly!
Discussion: We gathered some feedback on the newly released social features like the Citaadel and District text chat. The team mentioned a possibility of enabling localised chats if your Gotchigang is on the same parcel. This feature would be helpful for hosting events and meetups on the parcels.
-Looking Forward: Watch out for the Wednesday tour of the Gotchiverse with the Genso-kishi gaang during an AMA/Gotchiverse playdrop that will be happening at 10:00 AM EST, 2:00 PM UTC.
