It’s only fitting that my good friend Michael Witt is the first person to sit down and have a conversation with me on Malfunktion.
Michael is an exceptional musician, singer/songwriter, and overall creative soul whom I share a really cool bond with. We have grown really close over the last 3 years. And one of the most unique elements, and what I believe to be the catalyst to the depth of our connection is Michael and I both grew up in the same small town here in Texas. Since re-connecting in our adulthood, it has been extremely healing and validating for each of us to spend time talking about our pasts together, along with encouraging each other in the many creative pursuits we both have.
In this episode, Michael and I dive into his current obsession with The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia, his recent move to Nashville, dealing with the death of his childhood best friend, the ebbs and flows of our creative processes, and much more.
