Tim Held, Head Baseball Coach at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, joins The Sidelines to talk all things baseball. Coach Held has 25 years of coaching experience under his belt, 14 of them at the helm of the flourishing, 8-time State champion Moeller Baseball program. In his coaching career, Coach Held has been awarded GCL (Greater Catholic League) Coach of the Year honors 8 times, City (of Cincinnati) Coach of the Year 4 times, and was named the 2015 NFHS (National Federation of High School Sports Associations) Coach of the Year in the State of Ohio. Additionally, 16 of his former players have been drafted in the MLB Draft, with two of them currently playing in The Show. Through all of his experiences, Coach Held teaches us that regardless of accolades and personal accomplishments, the power of sports truly lives within the lifelong connections you make along the way.
