- Moses represents a foreshadow, a type of Christ our Lord as He responds in intercession
- We see the importance of witness / testimony, of ours and of the Lord’s
- Character of God: long-suffering, abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity (shame fullness) and transgression (lawlessness)
- Your sin won’t be hidden or passed over forever. The Lord’s character includes visiting iniquity, bringing judgement
- The Gospel, the Good News, is Forgiveness that we don’t deserve and never will deserve on the basis of Christ alone. God’s free gift in Christ that we trust by faith and live for by His power
