Today, we continue our discussion on goal-setting. We explore a few important questions that will help you set goals that are not just right for you, but that will also motivate you to do the work of achieving them.
The questions are taken from my new workbook Before You Set Goals: 10 Coaching Questions to Help You Set Goals That Please God and Take You Forward.
Remember that you can get the workbook while it’s still free! Get it at TheLifeaholic.com
Here are some of the episode highlights:
- Our goals do not need to be outlandish. We just need to set goals that take us forward right now. When we move further, we can then move to other, possibly bigger goals.
- Our lives belong to God. For this reason, we can’t set goals and ask Him to come on board and bless them. We need to ask Him what He expects us to do and then set goals in line with whatever or wherever He leads.
- We have a better understanding of our life’s trajectory than anyone else. And our goals should reflect what we understand about ourselves.
