We're talking monsters this week on the pod - Kaiju monsters. Kaiju is a Japanese genre of films and television featuring giant monsters (think Godzilla) and the term kaiju can refer to the giant monsters themselves - I.E. Godzilla is a Kaiju. In this episode we'll talk heroes and anti-heros, good versus evil, and of course we'll share our thoughts on Nick's themed cocktail.
Ecto Cooler - via How to Drink
- 1.5 oz rum
- 1.5 oz Cara Cara orange juice
- .25 oz simple syrup
- .25 oz blue curaçao
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker, add ice, rum, orange juice, and simple syrup
- Shake for 30 seconds or until your hand is too cold to shake
- Strain into glass
- Slowly pour the blue curaçao and stir until you get the desired green look
- Garnish with orange peel or your favorite crazy straw
