Description

This podcast series on suffering comes from a very specific understanding that ideas have consequences and that theology really does matter - what someone believes really shapes how they view God, how they view themselves, and how they walk through their lives.

This podcast is for those of you questioning your faith because you were taught that God was like a divine vending machine ...  if you put in the right coins of faith, you’d get whatever you want out of life.  But then tragedy strikes: cancer, Alzheimers, car accidents, inflation, loss of jobs, miscarriages.

What if "suffering" isn't a terrible thing to be avoided at all costs and saved from?  What if suffering is the means by which God glorifies Himself as He grows us in Christlikeness, leading us to kill sin in our lives and live out our faith in ways that speak to the truth of a coming kingdom that is much better than what this world has to offer?  What if suffering is meant to be part of the Christian life?

This special episode series will be airing, Lord willing, once per day for the next week and a half.  Binge this series, or take it slowly.  Either way, we pray it is encouraging.
