Godzilla (1998) promised audiences something bigger and better than Jurassic Park. Critics were underwhelmed. As children, we thought that this movie was awesome. Now, long after the naïve innocence of childhood has passed, and the world-weariness of adulthood has set in, it is high time for us to revisit Godzilla and ask, Does it Hold Up?
